The availability of religious symbol knitting charts on the internet seem to be few and far between, and when a search is started looking for these it can be quite extensive and time consuming. A part of this is because there are really not that many religious symbols that were ever created, and the ones that exist and are familiar tend not to translate well into knitting charts that result in any clear definition. Below are a couple of religious images that we discovered recently that work well as knitting charts. While the charts themselves may look to have rough or jagged edges they look just fine when the projects are made.
This first religious symbol knitting chart is of a simple cross measuring 30 stitches wide by 50 stitches high.
This Star of David knitting chart measures 60 stitches wide by 93 stitches high.
This last religious symbol knitting chart is of an Icthus or "Jesus Fish" that measures 60 stitches wide by 25 stitches high.
